Flaxen ERP — paint manufacturing with AI reporting

Enterprise ERP for paint manufacturing covering formulation, production, inventory, and finance — with an AI reporting module that surfaces what's actually happening on the floor.

Flaxen ERP — paint manufacturing with AI reporting

What we built

Flaxen ERP is a comprehensive, enterprise-grade resource planning platform engineered specifically for the paint manufacturing sector. The system manages the complete business lifecycle — raw material procurement, formulation, production, filling operations, inventory, sales, and financial reporting — under one roof.

The defining feature is the AI reporting module: instead of static reports, Flaxen runs an AI layer that consumes production, sales, and finance data in near-real-time and surfaces operational insights — formulation variance, batch yield drift, capacity bottlenecks, anomalous orders. Plant managers see what changed, why, and what to do next, without writing a single query.

The platform spans 712+ pages across 29+ business modules and over 100 database models, with real-time dashboards driving manufacturing, sales, CRM, HR, and project management.

What it includes

  • AI reporting module across production, sales, and finance
  • Manufacturing formulation management with version control
  • Multi-warehouse inventory with real-time stock tracking
  • Complete sales cycle with FIFO batch allocation (quotation → invoice)
  • Purchase and procurement with multi-level approvals
  • General ledger, trial balance, and financial reporting
  • Payroll processing with configurable salary components
  • Role-based access with full audit trail
  • Built-in helpdesk, chat, calendar, and task management

Stack

Next.js 14, React 18, TypeScript, Ant Design, Mantine, Tailwind CSS, AG Grid Enterprise on the frontend. Laravel 10 (PHP 8.1+) with Sanctum auth and Reverb WebSockets on the backend. MySQL, Redis, and Eloquent for data. DomPDF, jsPDF, Puppeteer, and ApexCharts handle the heavy reporting surface area.
